Warm goat cheese on bread with tomato

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 slice(s) baguette(s), toasted or grilled
  • 200 g cheese (goat cheese), medium-aged, cut into 8 slices
  • 2 m.-sized tomatoes, peeled and diced very finely
  • 1 tsp thyme, fresh, washed and chopped
  • 1 garlic clove(s), peeled, sterilized and halved
  • Olive oil, cold-pressed
  • Salt and pepper, black, ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Tartine de chèvre à la tomato

Place the diced tomatoes in a bowl, season with salt and pepper, and toss with a little olive oil. Rub the freshly toasted, still-warm baguette slices with garlic, arrange the tomatoes on top, top with the cheese slices, sprinkle with some thyme, and drizzle with a little olive oil. Grill for 5 minutes and serve immediately with a green salad.
