Fish with oranges

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large orange(s), untreated
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • 4 fish fillets, sea bass, possibly cod
  • Nutmeg, freshly grated
  • Black pepper, freshly ground
  • e.g. Orange(s) – slices or julienne of orange peel

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Fish with Orange

Wash and dry the orange. Finely grate some of the zest. Halve the orange. Squeeze out the juice. Peel and finely dice the onion, and mix it with the juice, zest, and salt in a wide bowl. Wash and dry the fillet, and add it to the bowl. Cover and marinate for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Place the fillets in a baking dish and season with a little nutmeg and pepper. Cook in the oven for a good 10 minutes, drizzling with the marinade occasionally. Garnish with orange slices or strips, if desired. Serve with rice.
