Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 275 g flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 120 g butter, melted
- 175 g white sugar
- 175 g sugar, brown or cane sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 200 g chocolate (drops)
- 1 handful of walnuts, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
from my American host mother, for 9 pieces
Preheat oven to 190°C. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Mix vanilla, brown sugar, and white sugar with the butter until creamy. Add the two eggs and then the dry ingredients. Mix in the chocolate chips and nuts. Using a tablespoon, place 3×3 round mounds of dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Be careful, they will spread. The cookies are supposed to bake for 9-11 minutes, but I like the American style and only bake them for 7 minutes. You’ll have to decide for yourself which you prefer. Then remove the baking sheet and let the cookies rest for 10 minutes or longer, then remove them from the baking sheet.
