Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g cauliflower
  • 2 stalk(s) leeks
  • 250 g carrot(s)
  • 3 rolls, stale
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp chives, finely chopped
  • 20 g fat
  • 1 cup milk or broth
  • 1 egg(s)

Slice the carrots and leeks, and pick the cauliflower florets. Steam them separately in a little water until tender. Cut the bread rolls into thin slices and brown them in hot oil. Layer each roll in a casserole dish: one layer each of bread rolls, leeks, bread rolls, carrots, bread rolls, cauliflower, and bread rolls. Mix the milk or broth with the egg, salt, pepper, and chives, pour over the bonfire, and bake at 170°C for about 30 minutes.
