Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 ml milk
  • 500 ml water
  • 6 tsp coffee powder, finely ground
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp cardamom
  • 1 pinch of saffron powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Coffee

Bring milk and water to a boil in a saucepan. Add the coffee powder and bring back to a boil. Add the sugar and spices and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Strain through a fine sieve and serve hot.
