Apple – Chocolate – Crumble Cake

The perfect apple – chocolate – crumble cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 325 g Flour
  • 40 g Dark cocoa powder
  • 0,5 tsp Salt
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 175 g Butter
  • 700 g Sour apples
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 3 Egg yolk
  • 400 g Sour cream
  • 50 g Whipped cream
  • 80 g Powdered sugar
  • 0,5 tsp Cinnamon powder
  1. Mix the flour, cocoa powder, salt, sugar and vanilla sugar
  2. Melt the butter and add to the flour mixture and process everything into crumble.
  3. Chill the sprinkles for at least 1 hour.
  4. Peel and core the apples and cut into pieces.
  5. Drizzle with lemon juice.
  6. Mix together the egg yolks, sour cream, powdered sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Grease a 26 cm springform pan and fill in half of the chocolate sprinkles and press down to a bottom.
  8. Spread the apple pieces on top.
  9. Pour the creamy cream on top and spread the remaining crumble on top.
  10. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 160 ° for about 40 minutes.
  11. Let cool and serve.
