Almond butter cake

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 150 g margarine
  • 200 g sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 375 g flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 250 g cream, thick sour
  • Fat, for greasing
  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 4 tbsp whipped cream
  • 250 g almond(s) (flakes)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Mix the dough ingredients with a hand mixer for 3-5 minutes. The longer the better. Grease a roasting pan or baking sheet well and pour the dough into it, smoothing it out. Bake at 225 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes on the middle rack. Melt the butter, sugar, whipped cream, and almonds in a saucepan and immediately pour over the baked cake. Then bake at 225 degrees Celsius for another 5-10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool briefly. This cake bakes very quickly, so it’s perfect for those in a hurry or in emergencies. Tastes delicious warm or even the next day.
