Maultaschen in creamy vegetable sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 packs of Maultasche(s)
  • 2 bell peppers, yellow and red
  • 1 can of corn
  • 125 g bacon, diced
  • 340 g condensed milk, 4%
  • ½ pack of bread(s) – Brunch spread (cayenne pepper ham)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp margarine
  • 1 onion(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the Maultaschen into strips, dice the bell peppers, and slice the onions into half rings. Heat the margarine and fry the Maultaschen, adding the onions, bacon, and bell peppers until lightly browned. Add the eggs and continue frying. Deglaze with the condensed milk and stir in the brunch. Simmer on low heat for a few minutes. Stir in the corn and remove from the heat. Let stand for 10 minutes, then enjoy. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Serve with a delicious leaf or cucumber salad.
