Spicy cream cheese with garlic

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 400 g cream cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3 tbsp herbs (herbs of Provence)
  • 4 tbsp milk, as needed
  • Pepper, freshly ground
  • Salt, to taste, about 1 level tsp

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

quick and easy as a dip, for cooking or simply on bread

Mix the cream cheese with milk until creamy, then add freshly crushed garlic and herbs de Provence (I use dried herbs here), salt, and pepper. Season to your liking. Let stand for a while (at least 10 minutes) until the flavors have blended. This is a super simple recipe and quick to make. It’s a hit with us, but it’s also a hit with every visit! Tastes great on bread and with vegetables as a dip. I also use this cream a lot in cooking (see stuffed mushrooms, for example).
