Carrot Bread
The perfect carrot bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Finely grated carrots
- 250 g Spelled flour 630
- 300 g Spelled flour 1050
- 350 ml Water
- 1,5 teaspoon Honey
- 10 g Fresh yeast
- 2 tbsp Vinegar
- 1,5 teaspoon Salt
- Dissolve the yeast in the water, then pour all the ingredients into the mixing bowl of the food processor and knead for 2-3 minutes. (Do not knead the spelled flour for too long as it gets sticky very quickly) The bread dough is a bit soft, so I take a loaf pan – greased – and put it in there. Cover and let rise – approx. 30 min.
- Preheat the oven to 200 ° C and place the bread in it. Using a spray bottle, add 4-5 sprays of water and quickly close the door. Bake the bread for about 45- 50 minutes.
