Mince spice mix (homemade fix for minced meat)

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 10 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 10 tsp salt
  • 5 tsp curry
  • 5 tsp marjoram
  • 5 tsp pepper (freshly ground; black or mixed)
  • 1 tsp all-spice
  • ½ tsp cumin

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

for meatballs/minced steaks/meatballs/… as well as for meatloaf – also suitable as a gift

Mix everything together and pour into a spice jar. Use: approx. 3-4 tablespoons per 500g of minced meat, e.g., like this: minced meat + seasoning + 2 eggs + 1 onion + some breadcrumbs + 1-2 tablespoons chopped parsley (fresh) + 1-3 teaspoons mustard. Knead well, shape accordingly (into meatballs, minced steaks, or meatloaf), and fry, bake, or braise. Minced steaks, for example, are also great for frying in muffin tins (pressing portions into the molds) – this way, they don’t have to be turned over/they don’t fall apart, etc., saving time and effort and leaving you time for side dishes or whatever. I created this mix for my son when he was learning to cook, and it’s served me well ever since, even as a gift for others.
