GDR recipe

Cut the meat into cubes and fry lightly in butter. Sprinkle with flour, add hot stock, bring to a boil, and remove from the heat. Whisk together the condensed milk, white wine, and egg yolk, stir in, and season generously with lemon juice, salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar, if desired. Transfer the seasoned meat to ovenproof dishes, sprinkle with grated cheese, and grill or bake in the oven at 180°C until the cheese begins to melt and has taken on some color (be careful, the cheese burns easily and will then taste bitter). Garnish with lemon slices and parsley when serving. Serve with Worcestershire sauce and toasted bread.
