Grilled garlic potatoes

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 large potatoes, waxy
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • ½ tbsp rosemary
  • ½ tbsp parsley
  • ½ tbsp thyme
  • some salt and pepper from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

in a spicy garlic and herb marinade

Boil the potatoes in salted water for about 10 minutes. Heat the oil and butter in a small saucepan. Sauté the garlic. Add the remaining herbs. Add more herbs to taste, if desired, and season with salt and pepper. Remove from the heat. When the potatoes are tender, cut them into thick slices and coat them with the herb mixture. Grill the potatoes for 10 minutes or a little longer until crispy, brushing them occasionally with the garlic and herb mixture.
