Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • e.g. butter or oil
  • 200 g tuna, mackerel or salmon (can)
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp dill, chopped
  • 2 tsp parsley, chopped
  • Flour for dusting
  • 1 lemon(s), cut into quarters
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Fish cakes, fish patties

Peel and dice the onion, then fry in hot butter or oil until translucent. Drain the fish. Then mix with the onions, breadcrumbs, egg, dill, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Form the batter into small meatballs and dust with flour. Melt butter in a pan if desired and fry the meatballs until golden brown on both sides. Serve with the lemon wedges.
