Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 75 g margarine
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 350 g mixed mushrooms, sliced (oyster and shiitake mushrooms, button mushrooms)
  • 8 slices of white bread
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Vegetarian

Melt the margarine in a pan. Add the garlic and heat for 30 seconds, stirring. Add the mushrooms and sauté for 4 minutes, turning occasionally. Toast the white bread under a grill preheated to medium heat for 2-3 minutes, turning once. Place the toasted bread on a serving plate. Mix the parsley well with the mushrooms, season with salt and pepper. Spoon the mushroom mixture onto the bread and serve immediately. Tip: Spices such as curry or chili powder make the mushrooms even more piquant. Tip: Store the mushrooms in the refrigerator for a maximum of 24-36 hours and only in paper bags, as they will “sweat” in plastic. Wild mushrooms should be washed; others are simply rubbed.
