Turkey and leek strips with martini

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g turkey meat, shredded
  • 2 stalk(s) leeks
  • 1 cup vermouth (Martini Dry)
  • 30 g Parmesan
  • 5 tbsp sour cream
  • oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Delicious, quick dish that also provides the aperitif

Trim the leek and slice into thin rings. Brown the meat in hot oil, add the leek rings, and sauté briefly. Deglaze with Martini sauce, then season with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Simmer over high heat for about 10 minutes. Stir in the sour cream and bring the sauce to a boil briefly. Arrange the strips on plates. Grate or grind Parmesan cheese and, if desired, a little fresh pepper over the top. Serve hot. Can be eaten on its own or with pasta or rice.
