Nectarine – blueberry jam

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g nectarine(s), cleaned and sliced
  • 100 g blueberries, possibly halved or quartered
  • 300 g gelling sugar (2:1), possibly 3:1
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Combine the nectarines and blueberries with the lemon juice and preserving sugar and let stand for about 1 hour. Stir again and then return it to the stove. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and simmer for about 15 minutes (stirring constantly, or it will burn!). Then carefully puree (you can do this before cooking, to avoid the risk of burning!) and pour into twist-off jars. Let cool, turning the lids upside down.
