Baked apple slices

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 large apples
  • 2 small bananas
  • 6 tbsp cream
  • some lemon juice
  • 1 egg(s)
  • some honey
  • Oil for the mold
  • 2 tbsp almonds, chopped
  • some cranberry compote

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel and mash the bananas, then mix with cream, lemon juice, egg, and honey to form a thick sauce. Wash the apples, peel them if desired, core them, and slice them thinly. Grease a shallow baking dish with oil and place the apple slices in it. Pour the sauce over the apples and sprinkle with the almonds. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes. Serve garnished with cranberry compote. Variation: You can also use nuts or coconut flakes instead of the almonds.
