cheap, easy and delicious

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente and then rinse well. Fry the bacon, chopped onions and chopped garlic in olive oil/butter. Deglaze with a little pasta water, about 1/2 ladleful. Stir in the sour cream and season generously with salt, pepper and paprika. The sauce should be a nice pink from the paprika. Place half of the pasta in a large, buttered baking dish, spread half of the sauce over it and top with half of the grated Gouda. Now add the remaining pasta, then the remaining sauce and finally the remaining cheese. Cover and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 35 minutes. Serve with a green salad or applesauce.
