Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 10 m.-sized potatoes
  • 800 g minced beef
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 20 g spice mix (marjoram, thyme, cinnamon, sugar, garlic, paprika)
  • salt and pepper
  • 10 bell peppers, grilled, marinated in oil
  • 400 g sour cream
  • 400 g feta cheese
  • Thyme for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Boil the potatoes, peel them, slice them, and place them in the baking dish. Season with salt and thyme. Sear the minced meat until very hot, then season with the homemade spice mix, salt, and pepper. Add the chopped onions and fry them, then add the chopped bell peppers. Reduce the heat, add sour cream, and simmer for about 10 minutes. Then pour the minced meat mixture onto the prepared potatoes, scatter the feta flakes over them, and sprinkle with a little more thyme. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for about 20 minutes.
