Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 rolls (hamburger)
  • 1 kg minced meat, half and half
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large can of tomatoes, pureed
  • ½ tube(s) tomato paste, with garlic or herbs
  • 1 jar of pickles
  • 3 onions
  • pepper
  • Salt
  • Paprika powder
  • n. B. Garlic clove(s), finely chopped
  • Butter or margarine

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Heat some butter in a saucepan and sauté two finely chopped onions until translucent. Dice the cucumbers and add them to the onions along with the tomato sauce and tomato paste. If desired, add finely chopped garlic cloves. Combine the ground beef, egg, a finely chopped onion, breadcrumbs, and seasonings and form into patties. Flatten them and cook in a pan. Cut open the hamburger buns, spread them thinly with butter or margarine, and place them on a rack in the oven. Grill them cut-side up at 120°C (250°F) until crispy, but do not allow them to brown. Brush the hamburger buns with the sauce, top with the patties, spread more sauce, and cover with the top half of the bun. Tip: You can, of course, top the hamburger with lettuce or with processed cheese. Depending on how thick you make the patties, there will be enough for more hamburgers.
