Fruit towers on marzipan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 50 g ladyfingers
  • 50 g chocolate coating (milk), melted
  • 100 g marzipan paste
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 apple
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 small orange(s)
  • 1 kiwi(s)
  • 2 grapes, blue, halved
  • ½ point cake glaze, clear

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Crumble the sponge fingers and knead them with melted chocolate. Form 4 shallow aluminum molds with an 8 cm diameter and press the biscuit mixture into them. Roll out the marzipan on a sheet of powdered sugar, cut out 4 circles, each 7.5 cm in diameter, and place them in the molds. Peel and slice the fruit. Immediately brush the apples with lemon juice. Layer the fruit slices (apple first, then orange, and finally kiwi) on the marzipan and cover with halved grapes. Prepare the cake glaze according to the package instructions and cover the fruit towers with the cake glaze.
