Honey with dandelion

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 handfuls of dandelion flowers, fresh
  • 1 jar honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Don’t wash the fresh dandelion blossoms with their green petals from the meadow. Instead, place them in a clean screw-top jar and pour over the honey, preferably runny, or a good beekeeper’s honey. The blossoms will eventually rise to the surface. The dandelions will then release their essential oils into the honey. Pick the blossoms only on sunny days and in the morning. Let the little creatures crawl out and spread the blossoms. If you have allergies or are using it for children, only use the individual petals. The blossoms are more intense with the petals. I also had a few daisy blossoms with me.
