Fresh tomatoes with feta

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g tomatoes
  • 80 g feta cheese
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp basil, fresh
  • 1 tbsp thyme, fresh
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel and slice the tomatoes. Mix together the balsamic vinegar and oil (if you prefer a slightly tangy flavor, use 2 tablespoons each). Finely chop the basil and thyme and stir into the vinegar and oil mixture. Mix with the tomato slices and arrange on a salad plate. Finely grate the feta cheese using a vegetable grater (or finely crumble it with a fork) and sprinkle over the tomatoes before serving.
