Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 pack of Maultaschen, approx. 300 g
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 eggs
- 150 g Emmental cheese, grated
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
with onions
Halve and chop the Maultaschen, finely dice the onion, and fry both in a pan until lightly browned. Whisk the eggs with salt and pepper, add to the Maultaschen, and stir as you would with scrambled eggs. If you have a good frying pan, add the cheese directly and fold it in. You can also pour the Maultaschen and egg mixture into a casserole dish and top with cheese.
