Vegan Mango Cinnamon Porridge

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 5 tbsp oat flakes
  • 200 ml almond milk (almond drink)
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Sugar or agave syrup
  • 1 mango(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

First, put the oats and almond milk in a saucepan and heat over low to medium heat. Then slowly increase the heat, but never to the highest. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly, and season with cinnamon and sugar or agave syrup. If necessary, refrigerate the porridge briefly to cool. Cut the mango into small cubes. The best way to do this is to cut along both sides of the mango close to the pit and score a checkered pattern into the rounded parts of the mango. Gently press the mango skin inwards and cut the cubes away from the skin. Finally, add the mango cubes to the porridge and enjoy warm or cold.
