Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 300 g Spätzle from the refrigerated counter
- 100g bacon
- 1 shallot(s)
- 1 ball of mozzarella
- 1 tomato(s)
- oil
- some parsley
- Salt
- Pepper, freshly ground
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Heat the oil in a nonstick pan and fry the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and sauté the sliced shallot until translucent. Add the spaetzle and bacon and sauté over medium heat for 5 minutes. Finely dice the mozzarella, add it, and stir well. Once the cheese has melted, add the diced tomato. Season with parsley, salt, and pepper. The tomato and mozzarella add a fresh touch to the dish, and the cheese spaetzle are lighter on the stomach.
