Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g salt
- 1 tbsp paprika paste
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp chili flakes
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well so that the paprika paste is completely absorbed by the salt and the salt is a nice red. Then spread it out on a baking tray lined with baking paper and put it in the oven. Preheat the oven to 50 degrees, but then turn it off immediately. It takes about 1 hour for the salt to dry, depending on how thinly you spread it out. If necessary, preheat the oven a second time. Turn it over every now and then during this time; it goes faster. You can also spread the salt out in a warm place to dry. It will just take longer, and you have to be careful not to get flies on it. Fill jars with salt and seal them. Ideal as a gift from the kitchen.
