  • 500 g poppy seeds, ground
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 80 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 100 g semolina

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

In a saucepan, bring the milk and butter to a boil. Stir in the poppy seeds, sugar, and semolina, then let cool. This batch is enough for one baking sheet. It’s intended as a topping for your favorite yeast dough recipe, and it’s even more delicious with your favorite crumbles.
