Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 kg poppy seeds (not ground)
  • 1.8 kg sugar
  • 2 liters of milk
  • 800 g eggs
  • 400 g marzipan
  • 1.2 kg breadcrumbs, sweet
  • 400 g almonds, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Pour the milk, sugar, and marzipan into the kettle and bring to a boil. Then add the poppy seeds and bring back to a boil. Then add the sweet crumbs, almonds, and eggs. Stir vigorously.
