Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 400 g sugar (fine)
  • 3 pts vanilla sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 400 g butter
  • 1 pinch of salt

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Sugar waffles

Place the flour in a bowl, combine the sugar, salt, and vanilla sugar, and make a well in the center. Beat the eggs until frothy and add to the flour mixture, mixing slowly. Melt the butter and slowly add it to the dough, mixing until smooth and even. Let the dough rest in a cool place for at least 2 hours. Then, roll the dough into sausages and bake them in a waffle iron. They taste great cold.
