with lemon ice cubes

Measure 5 cups of water and bring to a boil in a saucepan. Zest the lemons and place the zest into a tea infuser. Remove the boiling water from the heat, add the tea infuser and tea bags, and let steep for 10 minutes. Then remove both. Stir the juice of one lemon, the blackberry syrup, and the cane sugar into the still-warm tea, then bottle and chill. Squeeze the second lemon and pour the juice into an ice cube tray, carefully filling with water. If you like, you can add fresh blackberries to the tray and then freeze. Serve the tea cold with the lemon ice cubes later.
