Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 orange(s), untreated
  • 500 g sugar, extra fine
  • 1 pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of coriander, ground
  • 1 liter cognac, vodka or white rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the oranges and peel the rind very thinly (without any white pith). Chop the orange peel and squeeze the juice. Stir the juice with the sugar in a large, sealable jar until the sugar is dissolved. Add the orange peel, cinnamon, and coriander and top up with the alcohol. Stir the mixture thoroughly and let it steep in a dark place for 2 months. Then filter the orange liqueur and bottle it.
