Muffin (basic recipe)

Spread the love

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 240 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 80 g sugar
  • 80 ml vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g yogurt
  • possibly fat, for the muffin tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Mix the flour with the baking powder, salt, and sugar. In a second bowl, combine the oil, eggs, and yogurt. Using a whisk, stir the flour mixture into the yogurt mixture until well blended. Fill the batter into the muffin tin or baking cups and bake in the oven at 175°C (fan oven) for about 20 minutes. Tip: This is just a basic recipe; you can customize it to your liking. I’ve used hazelnut nougat spread, bananas, marzipan, and Kinder chocolate. Chopped apple with cinnamon also tastes great at Christmas time. So the sky’s the limit.
