Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g minced beef
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp basil
  • 3 tbsp sherry
  • 1 can/n tomatoes, peeled
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

for spaghetti or as a lasagna – basis

Heat olive oil in a pan, add the minced meat, and fry until crispy. Peel and finely dice the onion, carrot, and leek, add to the meat, and fry for 5 minutes. Finely chop the garlic and fry, stir in the tomato paste, and toast briefly. Season with oregano and basil, then deglaze with sherry. Stir in the peeled tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and simmer gently for another 10-15 minutes. Tastes great as a spaghetti sauce, but also for making lasagna. Personal comment: There are many minced meat sauces, but this one is sensational, especially thanks to the sherry.
