Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 220 g date(s), dried
- 3 banana(s), ripe
- maple syrup
- Vanilla extract
- 60 ml olive oil
- 60 g baking cocoa
- 20 g desiccated coconut, optional
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 240 g spelt flour
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- e.g. soy milk (soy drink)

Cover the dates with water in a bowl and let them soak for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, mash the bananas with a fork and place them in a blender. Add the maple syrup, vanilla, and olive oil. Drain the soaked dates and add them to the blender. Blend until creamy. In a bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, baking powder, (desiccated coconut), and cinnamon. Add the banana-date puree to the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix well. Add soy milk if desired if it is too dry. Preheat oven to 190 degrees Celsius (convection oven). Line a baking tray with baking paper. Drizzle your hands with a little olive oil to prevent the dough from sticking to your hands. Form 8 rolls and place them on the tray. Bake for about 15 minutes. Tip: Spread the rolls with almond butter or peanut butter.
