  • n. B. sugar
  • n. B. Food coloring, amount according to color

Instructions

looks great on desserts and cakes

Fill a clean screw-top jar with sugar. Add the food coloring you prefer and shake vigorously to mix well. Leave uncovered on a baking sheet and stir it in again and again until some of the moisture has gone out! You can’t get the sugar completely dry, though. Now pour it back into the screw-top jars. Always shake before use to break up any lumps. The decorative sugar looks great on desserts, cream cakes, and the like!
