Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g margarine or butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp clove powder
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 250 g flour
  • 125 ml wine (mulled wine)
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 100 g chocolate sprinkles
  • powdered sugar
  • Wine, (mulled wine)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Beat eggs, margarine, and sugar until fluffy. Add the remaining ingredients and mix. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 1 hour. Let the cake cool and then glaze with powdered sugar and mulled wine. It will keep for 1 week.
