simple, vegan

First, boil 3 liters of water in a kettle and pour into a suitable container. Then, place the 8 tea bags together in the hot water and let them steep for a maximum of 5 minutes; otherwise, the iced tea will be too bitter. Add 2-4 tablespoons of sugar to the still-hot tea and stir until dissolved. Then, let the sweetened tea cool and stand overnight (approximately 8-10 hours) to allow the tea to steep thoroughly. Steeping is the most important step, as this is when the typical iced tea flavor develops. Add your preferred juice just before serving and serve with ice cubes. It will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. Note: The 2-4 tablespoons of sugar depend on the sugar content of the juice you’ll add later. If you’re adding passion fruit nectar, 2 tablespoons of sugar are sufficient. However, if you’re using pure lemon juice, 4 tablespoons are more pleasant due to its high acidity. Ultimately, though, it’s a matter of personal taste.
