Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 6 tsp herbal tea (Albanian mountain tea, red oregano)
- 1 liter of water
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- n. B. ice cubes
- n. B. flowers, edible
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Herbal iced tea without sugar as a thirst quencher for warm summer days
Pour boiling water over the tea and let it steep for 10 minutes. Add honey or, for a vegan version, maple syrup, and stir well. Once the tea has cooled, add ice cubes and serve. Edible flowers add a touch of color to the ice cubes. This iced tea is super healthy and refreshing.
