Winter dessert with speculatius

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 apples
  • 50 g raisins
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tsp honey
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 package of speculatius biscuits

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

simple and aromatic

Peel, core, and roughly dice the apples. Place them in a saucepan with the raisins, honey, cinnamon, and water and simmer until soft. Whisk the mascarpone and vanilla sugar until creamy. Whip the cream until stiff and fold in. Crumble the speculatius biscuits for the bottom layer until the base is covered. Then spread the cream on top and top with the compote. A simple and delicious winter dessert.
