Shredded chicken curry

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 200 g onion(s)
  • 2 apples, sour
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 3 tsp curry powder
  • ¼ liter chicken broth
  • ⅛ liter whipped cream
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cut the chicken breast fillet into 1 cm wide strips. Peel, halve, and slice the onions. Peel, quarter, and slice the apples. Heat the oil in a pan until very hot. Brown the meat. Then add the onions and sauté until translucent. Sprinkle the flour and curry powder over the pan and sauté briefly. Then deglaze with hot stock. Add the apple slices to the meat. Cook the curry for another 5 minutes over low heat, then season with salt, sugar, and lemon juice. Serve with rice. Approx. 288 kcal per serving.
