Ingredients for 16 servings:
- 150 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 bag of vanilla sugar
- 125 g flour
- 125 g cornstarch
- ½ bag(s) of baking powder
- 100 g ground almonds (preferably peeled)
- 1 tbsp rum, (alternatively 1 tbsp milk)
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Preheat oven to 190°C. Cream the butter until fluffy. Gradually add the remaining ingredients, except for the cocoa, and stir the batter until it bubbles. Divide the batter in half, pour one half into the cake pan, and mix the other half with the cocoa. Using a wooden spoon, mix the dark batter into the light batter in 3-4 strokes. Bake for approximately 45 minutes.
