Wonni's WW bread casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g white bread, stale
  • 2 eggs
  • 400 ml milk
  • 100 g cottage cheese, low fat
  • 125 g cheese (Maasdamer), light 16%
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • sesame
  • chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

great use of leftovers

Tear the bread into small pieces and place in a baking dish. Dice the cheese and mix it into the bread. Whisk the milk with the eggs and cottage cheese, season with salt, pepper and paprika and pour over the bread and cheese mixture. Bake in the oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes. After 30 minutes in the oven, sprinkle sesame seeds and chives over the casserole, turn on the grill and bake until a nice crust has formed. 4 servings = 26 WW points 1 serving = 6.5 WW points Tip: I serve this with fresh iceberg lettuce and/or tomato salad. Can be modified with caraway, corn, broccoli or bell peppers.
