Peach Caipirinha Punch

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 can peach(s)
  • 3 limes
  • 100 ml lemon juice
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 200 ml cachaça (Brazilian sugar cane liquor)
  • 1 bottle of sparkling wine, ice-cold dry
  • 1 bottle of mineral water, ice-cold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Drain the peaches, reserving the juice. Roughly dice the peaches. Wash the limes in hot water, pat dry, and slice. Stir the peach and lemon juice, sugar, and cachaça until the sugar is dissolved. Pour into a punch bowl with the fruit. Top up with sparkling wine and mineral water just before serving.
