Latte macchiato, ultra-fast

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 ml milk (3.8%) or UHT milk
  • Coffee from the coffee machine
  • e.g. sugar or sweetener
  • e.g. cinnamon powder, cocoa powder, nutmeg powder or similar for aromatic decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 2 minutes

made in less than 2 minutes directly in the serving glass

Pour the milk directly into the serving glass. Sweeten it if desired. Heat it in the microwave for one minute at high power (900 W). Do not let it boil, otherwise an unpleasant skin will form. Then froth it in the glass using a battery-operated hand whisk (takes less than 30 seconds). I stop the frothing process when the rotating foam reaches the rim of the glass. Place the glass under the coffee machine and let the freshly brewed coffee drip through the foam onto the hot milk. Sprinkle with cinnamon powder or something similar, if desired. Good luck and enjoy! The milk foam won’t be quite as fine-pored as when prepared with an electric tabletop frother, but it saves time-consuming cleanup!
