Latte Macchiato

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 ml milk
  • 40 ml espresso
  • n. B. Syrup (latte macchiato flavor)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Heat 200 ml of milk, but don’t let it boil. I get the best froth when I whirl the milk in the pan with my hand-held milk frother; this creates truly incredible milk foam; no machine can achieve this. I always use Nescafe espresso powder, which is also available in convenient single servings. Pour one sachet into 40 ml of hot, but not boiling, water. First, add the frothed milk to the glass, then slowly pour in the espresso. If you like a flavored macchiato, pour the milk into the glass first, then the milk and then the espresso.
