Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 100 g whipped cream
  • 200 ml ice cream (creamy chocolate ice cream)
  • 4 cup(s) coffee, hot (espresso, also small espresso cups)
  • small cookies

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Place the milk, powdered sugar, cream, and half of the chocolate ice cream in a tall bowl. Whisk together using a hand mixer or blend until frothy. Pour the resulting chocolate shake into four latte macchiato glasses or four other tall glasses. Pour a shot of hot espresso over each one and add a scoop of creamy chocolate ice cream to each glass. Place each glass on a plate or small tray. Decorate with cookies and serve with a straw. Variations: It tastes even better with a little coffee or cream liqueur. You can also replace the whipped cream with coconut milk and pour batida de coco on top instead of hot espresso. Of course, the chocolate shake can also be replaced with a vanilla shake, in which case with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
