Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g butter
- 2 cups sugar
- ½ cup water
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions

Combine butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, then let cool. Separate the eggs. Stir the egg yolks, flour, and baking powder into the cooled mixture. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold in gently. Pour into a 26 cm loaf pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 45 to 60 minutes. The cake should still be slightly moist after cooling.
