Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 10 m.-sized eggs
  • 1 cup rum
  • 1 cup water
  • 375 g sugar
  • 1 lemon(s), zest and juice
  • 1 liter white wine

Instructions

hot eggnog, just right for New Year’s Eve

Combine eggs, sugar, rum, lemon juice, water, and grated lemon zest in a simmering pan (milk pan) and add white wine to a level about 2 cm below the rim. If you don’t have a simmering pan, you can also place a smaller pot inside a large one filled with water. Once the water starts to boil, stir the liquid continuously with a hand blender or whisk to prevent it from curdling. Once the punch has thickened, it’s ready. It’s incredibly delicious, and one pot is usually not enough.
